Nestled on the picturesque Vancouver Island, Beaufort Winery offers a unique blend of tradition and innovation in winemaking. Established in 2007, our vineyard spans 18 acres, growing 11 diverse grape varieties, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Ortega.
Our Story
Beaufort Winery, the first certified organic vineyard on Vancouver Island, has been committed to sustainable and organic farming since its inception. Purchased by Alexandre Guertin, Sylvie Senay, and Rolland Tanguay in 2021, the winery continues to thrive under their vision and dedication to excellence.

Our mission is to produce high-quality, organic wines that reflect the unique terroir of Vancouver Island. We prioritize sustainability, handcrafting each bottle with minimal intervention to let the natural flavours shine.
Our Winemaking Philosophy
Stephanie Clarke, our talented winemaker, brings a wealth of experience and a passion for creating fresh, bright, and food-friendly wines. We focus on small batch production, ensuring each bottle meets our high standards of quality. Our cool coastal climate and organic practices yield wines with naturally high acidity and lower sugars, resulting in crisp whites and vibrant reds.
Sustainability and Organic Practices
Beaufort Winery takes pride in our organic certification for both vineyard and winery operations. We employ regenerative agriculture techniques, eschewing synthetic chemicals in favor of natural solutions like biochar and green compost. Our commitment to the environment extends to every aspect of our vineyard management.
