Nestled in the heart of the Comox Valley, Beaufort Winery is a testament to our commitment to crafting exceptional wines that reflect the unique character of our coastal terroir. As Vancouver Island’s first certified organic winery, we pride ourselves on sustainable and regenerative practices that honour the soil and elevate the quality of our wines. We have 20 acres of vines planted, featuring a variety of grape varietals that thrive in our cool coastal climate, including Ortega, Petite Milo, Gewürztraminer, and Pinot Noir. Each varietal is carefully nurtured to produce wines that are fresh, vibrant, and expressive of our unique terroir.
Join us for a tasting
We offer a variety of tasting experiences tailored to your preferences. Whether you’re looking for a structured tasting or a more relaxed visit, we have options to suit your needs. In addition to our guided tastings, you can enjoy wine by the glass or flights of three wines as a standalone experience or in addition to your tasting. Delight in the stunning vineyard views and learn about our winemaking philosophy and the unique qualities of each wine.
Wine Tasting – $15 (up to 6 guests)
Enjoy a seated tasting of five wines in our tasting room. Perfect for smaller groups of 1-6 guests, this tasting provides a relaxed atmosphere to learn about our wines and winery.
- Duration: Plan for approximately 30 minutes.
- Extras: After your tasting, you’re welcome to enjoy our picnic area with a wine flight or shared bottles, which can be savoured with beautiful charcuterie items available for purchase on-site. These include a selection of cheeses, meats, nuts, pickled items, crackers, jams and chutneys.
Group Tasting – $15 (7 to 12 guests)
Ideal for groups of 7-12 guests, our group tasting offers a seated experience in a charming, scenic setting. Enjoy a guided tasting of five wines while learning about our wines and winery in a relaxed group atmosphere.
