With Winter behind us and the scent of Spring in the air, we’re thrilled to announce the reopening of our tasting room this upcoming Easter long weekend. Throughout the winter, we’ve been hard at work planning ways to enhance your Beaufort tasting experience, and we can’t wait to unveil our latest updates with you!

We’re excited to introduce our locally crafted Maple hardwood wine flight boards, skillfully made by Pete and Bill from Seacliff Woodworks. These beautiful additions are nearly ready for the tasting room, with Rosé flights set to debut soon. Plus, Tracy from Laliberté Cheese Co will be delighting our visitors with a tempting selection of cheese rounds and delectable pairing bites available throughout the week. From Quebec classics to European delights, the array of flavours offers endless possibilities for wine pairing. And let’s not forget our beloved Mustard Lady charcuterie boxes, returning on weekends throughout the summer.

In big news at Beaufort, we’re proud to officially introduce our new winemaker, Stephanie Clarke! Steph brings a wealth of experience, having joined us last August from the Cowichan Valley’s Unsworth Vineyards. Her journey through hospitality management, tasting room, and wine retail has shaped her passion for our industry. With a Level 4 Diploma in Wines from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust and a focus on production through the UC Davis Extension Certificate in Winemaking, Steph’s expertise is evident. She’s been hard at work prepping for bottling our 2023 vintage next week, which includes an exciting new Rosé with flavours that just scream sun-kissed patio.
