Wickedly delicious “port-style” wine, and a tremendous value at this price!!!
This fortified wine is our only non-grape wine, crafted from a blend of three vintages of Beaufort “Black” -- a delicious combination of Beaufort Estate & west coast blackberries, and Comox Valley blackcurrants. This blending process is known as the "Solera" method -- a unique, time-consuming, and labour intensive process, but we believe is worth the extra effort! This wine has been aged in a variety of oak barrels, up to 3 years, resulting in a complex, smooth, richly flavoured ‘port-style’ wine. Enjoy with rich desserts, mature & blue cheeses, and high cocoa chocolate, or add a splash to our "Carpe Diem" and experience our very own "Beau Royale".

2009 "MERITAGE"

Our Winemaker's (and many others') favourite!

Enjoy our winemaker’s choice of Okanagan-grown Cabernet Sauvignon (33%), Merlot (25%), Cabernet Franc (23%), and Malbec (19%). Aged in both French & American oak barrels, this wine has a subtle smoky aroma, with layers of complex black fruit flavours. A natural to be served with grilled meats and hearty pasta, it is also great with cedar planked fish, earthy vegetarian dishes, various cheeses, and even dark chocolate!

2) Order a mixed case on or soon after their release.
3) Decide which ones you like.
4) Stock up your cellar with your favourite Beaufort wines!
