And if sipping our wines from the glass isn't enough, some very creative people have incorporated our blackberry port-style wine ("Black") and blackcurrant port-style wine ("Cassis") into some ultra-decadent treats. Savour a 'Beaufort Black' organic cacao truffle from DarkSide Chocolates in Cumberland, or an incredible mousse creation containing our "Cassis" from Cakebread Artisan Bakery in Courtenay!

When visiting Vancouver Island, make sure you venture "north" (mid-Island actually) to the Comox Valley, and take the time to dine at any of the restaurants listed on the left -- you will be in for a treat as our region is becoming well-known for its culinary excellence, and could be the "poster-child" for the 20 km diet!

We appreciate all of the restaurants and outlets listed here, and all the other fine establishments, who support local products. When you "buy local", over 90% of the proceeds are re-invested in the local economy, through employment, and purchases of other goods & services.
