• -> Sep 2012: Mayor's Charity Golf Tournament & Auction. Beaufort's 2nd (of 5) Jeroboam (3L) bottle of the 2009 Ca Beautage is auctioned for $800, with all proceeds to a number of local charitable organizations.
• ->Jul 14, 2011: Atlas-Prontissima Pasta-Beaufort food-wine pairing event as part of the "30-Day Local Food Challenge".
• -> Feb 25-26, 2011: Virginia Graczak Music Scholarship Gala! Great music, excellent food, and Beaufort wines! 
• -> Feb 26, 2011: NIC scholarship fundraising event at the Filberg (featured a couple of Beaufort wines!).
• -> Thurs. Nov. 4, 2010: "Chef's Table" at the Kingfisher Resort & Spa. Gourmet dinner paired specifically with a selection of Beaufort wines!
• -> Sun. Oct 3, 2010: "Oysterpalooza" at Tria Culinary Studio.
• -> Sat. Oct 2, 2010: Cumberland Rotary's 6th annual "Extravaganza Italiana". Our 3L "Jeroboam" of '09 Ca Beautage, painted by Brian Scott, fetched $500 at auction -- with funds going to building a children's playground in Cumberland.

  -> Nov. 7, 2009: 4R's Education Centre dinner, featuring beaufort wines. All proceeds to 4R's -- to coninue to provide specialized teaching to students with specialized needs.
• -> Oct. 17, 2009: "Extravaganza Italiana", organized by the Rotary Club of Cumberland, with proceeds from the dinner & auction going to the CV Hospice Society. Beaufort Winery offered a "Winemaker's Dinner for 4" as part of the live auction.
• -> Sept. 26, 2009: "Harvest Banquet", featuring local food, wine, beer & spirits, with all proceeds going to the Moutainaire Avian Rescue Society.
• -> August, 2009: Jeff turns 50 and our Mothers, Elvis and a great group of friends help us celebrate at the vineyard.
• -> July 26, 2009: "Table Champetre" at Tannadice Farms, Courtenay.5-course gourmet dinner prepared by Chef Ronald St. Pierre (Locals), in a tent, on a farmer's field. Outstanding!
• -> July 19, 2009: Our first music event, with Jackie Lambeth (vocals), Tracy Canil (flute), & Marcia Haley (cello). A wonderful afternoon of "wine, women & song", with proceeds donated to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation. Thanks to all who made this happen!
• -> July 10-12, 2009: "Backstage" at the Vancouver Island MusicFest! Great show as always -- thanks gang!.

Previous Special Events & Milestones...

• -> December 2002 - Susan & Jeff arrive in St. Lucia, aboard their sailboat "Panacea", after a 27 day Atlantic crossing from Gran Canaria. {In 2009, the name "Panacea" resurfaces as the name of one of beaufort Winery's Vancouver Island white blended wines}  
• -> July 17, 2006 - Day 1 of the beaufort Vineyard!
• -> August 2006 - "Vineyard Warming" with family & friends.
• -> June 2007 - First vines planted!
• -> July 2007 - Received our "Land Based Winery" Licence -- 1st in the Comox Valley! 
• -> August 2007 - Moai dedication, with family & friends -- dedicated to the love and support of our mothers, and the memory of our fathers.
• -> October-November 2007 - beaufort's first commercial vintage! We processed over 16 tons of grapes and 2.5 tons of black currants/blackberries.
• -> May 30, 2008 - Opened to the general public for the first time! Less than 2 years after we purchased our vineyard & winery property!
• -> July 18-20, 2008 - "Finding a Cure" weekend. Raised funds for ovarian cancer research, following the recent passing of a dear friend.
• -> September 6, 2008 - 1st (Annual?) Alpine Food Festival at Mount Washington Alpine Resort.
• -> October 2008 - Offered a "crush-pad|" (silent auction) package at the Cumberland Rotary's "Italian Night" dinner, with funds raised going to the Comox Valley Hospice
• -> November 10, 2008 - 1st beaufort food & wine pairing dinner at the Avenue Bistro, Comox. (Nov 10, 2008)
• -> November 2008 - Nominated for a Mid-Island Science & Innovation Council (MISTIC) award for use of technology (our website) in food-related businesses.
• -> December 4, 2008 - Comox Valley Economic Development, 20th Anniversary Dinner. Over 300 people attended, and wines, mead & spirits from the region were offered alongside dinner.
